Personality; James Kellogg is the picture of “Southern Gentleman.” With a love and respect for women that couldn’t possibly be matched by anyone else, but his father, James chooses to give them every ounce of love, compassion, and respect that they deserve. Some girls believe that he is only putting on an act to get to them, but he is actually doing everything but. The proof is in that you will never find him rushing into a relationship. He takes his time and gets to know the girl before ever asking her own a date, not to mention the fact that he refuses to sleep with them. It was a choice that he made for himself a long time ago after seeing many of his friends (and his older sister) being torn apart after doing being with a guy. He vowed to never do that to a girl, or to himself. James is also a problem solver. It doesn’t matter the problem or the person, he’ll listen and give his advice and do what he can to help this person. His biggest problem is that he often finds himself in the middle of a situation when the person doesn’t want him to be. It’s just his natural way, to help a person even if they don’t ask. He is also very much a work-a-holic. He started working at his father’s company at a young age, and since then, he’s never really been able to think about anything but that being proven by working at the company and going to college (and medical school) at the same time. He’s often very persistent and when he does get angry, he really gets angry.
First Impression; When people first meet James, they often think he is simply a nice guy and very comfortable in his own skin. A lot of people in Texas recognize him as being the vice CEO of Kellogg Oil or the owner’s son. For those that don’t recognize him, they can usually tell by his appearance that he is in some kind of business. When he’s working or going to school, he’s often in a suit or semi-formal attire. However, if he’s not working, he seems like the normal 20something year old guy. He’s happy and usually smiling, watching sports, hanging out with friends or doing a number of other things to pass by the small amount of free time that he has. Now that he is in Washington, a lot of people probably won’t know who he is nor will they know that he is a work-a-holic. He does have a deep Texas accent and occasionally wears the classic cowboy boots and western style shirt…but only on occasion.
